Education is about how ideas change people and how people change the world. It is about knowledge and discovery. It is about fun. Knowledge is now universally recognized as the true strength of a nation and in the age of knowledge higher education has to play a vital role. I believe today’s youth should be able to derive pleasure from the education they receive. We firmly believe in the dictum that education should provide an integrated personality and help the students to imbibe human values. This would help them to become not only good professionals, but also conscientious human beings and responsible citizens Our focus is on the core issues — learning and learner. Keeping in mind the rich academic and overall resource base, the students can learn the practical as well as theoretical skills to attain successful positions in the future. Development of professional acumen and communication skills and updates in the relevant field are necessary requirements once a student gets into engineering education.
MIT aims at not only educating the young to be successful Engineers, Managers and Entrepreneurs but also to churn out socially responsible human beings of tomorrow. At MIT, we continuously strive to provide the finest environment for learning, innovation, research and character building. I welcome students to this inspiring environment and appeal them to use their wonderful student years productively.

OUR INSPIRATIONS
Shri Mahaveer Prasad Vashistha, Ex. M.L.A. Eminent Social worker and Political Leader. He is the supreme figure behind the concept and origin of MIT fraternity. Shri Mahaveer Prasad Vashishtha is a well known name in this region. He started his career as an educationalist.
He is a founder member of Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan, Ujjain. He has a holistic vision and has pragmatic approach to serve the society. He has devoted his entire life and potentials in the noble services of society. He lays emphasis that Mahakal Group of Institutes should have its indigenous image and a niche in the academic world. He worked as a Vice Chairman of Congress party under the able leadership of Hon’ble Shri Digvijay Singhji for 3 decades.
He represented Ujjain as a member of Legislative Assembly for two consecutive tenures from 1980 to 1990. He was Chairman of Forest Development Corporation for 5 years and Vice Chairman of MPSRTC for 5 years. He was also Chairman of District Co-operative Bank Ujjain for almost 2 decades.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Shri Praveen Vashistha, an educationist, has varied and rich experience in promoting education and sports activities and has made it sure that education and sports get their deserved priorities in the society. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1983 from Govt. Engineering College, Ujjain, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Govt. Engineering College, Ujjain.
He also worked as a Junior Engineer in the Project of Construction of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi for about 2 years. He has been a Class-A civil contractor and successfully handled various voluminous projects of MPPWD, MPHB and UDA thus contributing to infrastructure development of the region. He visualized to see Ujjain as the hub of academic knowledge and excellence, as it was known in the ancient times and keeping this ambition in mind he (as a founder member), established Prasar Shishan Evam Sansthan (PSSS) in 2001-02.
He first started Mahakal Institute of Technology (MIT) as his dream project in 2001. With his visionary approach, within a short span of six years he formed Mahakal Group of Institutes by adding five more colleges, namely, MICS and MIPS in 2002, MIM in 2003, MITS in 2006 and MITM in 2007. These institutes run UG and PG programmes in various disciplines like BE, B. Pharm, ME, M.Pharm, MBA and MCA with more than 5000 students on board.
His contribution in the sports arena is also commendable and he is holding many responsible positions of various councils and associations. He was an honorary member of Madhya Pradesh Sports Council, which is the apex body of sports activities in Madhya Pradesh; he is also Vice President of District Olympic Association, vice- President of Madhya Pradesh Badminton Association President of District Badminton Association and Advisor of Swimming Association. He is also Co-chairman of Lions Club, Ujjain, supporting various human welfare activities. The success of Mahakal Group of Institutes reflects his determined efforts towards providing youth with ample opportunities to develop their skills, capabilities, personality and become good citizens of the country.

Er. Dharmandra Gupta is an Engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He is the Vice Chairman of Mahakal Group of Institutes. He is innovative entrepreneur and eminent professional having excellent managerial qualities. Mr. Gupta is an inspiring personality, having power of maintaining soaring public relations. He is active member of Jan Swasthya Seva Samiti, Bhopal. A Society dedicated to provide basic health services to downtrodden class of our society.
To achieve its noble objective, society is running one year certificate course in basic health care in modem medicine for rural practitioners approved from medical education department of Government of Madhya Pradesh. Mr. Dharmendra is the Director, School of Broadcasting & Communication based at Mumbai and Director of Ideal Institute of & Research Centre, Jaipur
OUR LEADERSHIP
Mr. Rajendra Vashistha is the Vice-Chairman of Mahakal Group of Institutes. He is a highly qualified and has varied experience of social, cultural and literary activities. He is a renowned social activist, agriculturalist and philanthroper. He has a charismatic and robust personality. He has completed his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law and Post Graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Vikram University Ujjain with distinction.
He has served as a personnel Manager in M.P. Oil Federation Regional Office Ujjain from 1988 to 1999.He has rendered his social services as a Corporate Member in the Ujjain Municipality Corporation from 2000 to 2010 (2 Terms). During his tenure, he started and successfully implanted various projects to uplift the status of weaker section of the society viz dwellers of slum areas, widowers, non-dependent old persons, pensioners, beggars, orphans, homeless families etc. He is instrumental in the making adequate arrangement for potable water, constructions of roads, ponds, canals, schools, buildings of local bodies etc.
He is former President of Rotary Club of Ujjain Mahakal (Distict-3040).He is holding the coveted post of District Chairman of Awantika Kisan Parishad where he is actively involved in raising and solving issues pertaining to the problems of farmers of the region like as bank loan, irrigation, electricity, seeds, fertilizers and causality from natural calamities. He is also Chairman of Sarvhit Yuva Sanghathan. He has a deep faith in the theory and practice of time management.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Mr. Alok Vashistha is the Vice-Chairman of Mahakal Group of Institutes. He is a perfectionist and likes to have perfection in everything that he does. Being a highly religious and spiritual person, he devotes his most of time in the pious and spiritual services of saints and sages.
He is an ardent devotee of Devi Maa and Param Pujyaniya Shri DevPrabhakar Shashtri (Daddaji). He looks after the administrative affairs of Mahakal Group of Institutes. He has completed his B. Com, M. Com. and Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. He is an active member of Vedic and Scientific Research Foundation. He is also President of Jan Jagrati Yuva Sangathan.
He has keen interest in horticulture and gardening. He is pioneer in developing water reservoir, tanks and ponds at MIT campus. At MIT campus, under his able and masterly supervision, rain harvesting and ground water recharge systems have been developed and yielding very positive results

She was a rank holder in the University’s merit list & gold medalist in her post graduation degree. She rendered her academic services as an Assistant Professor in Girl’s Degree College for 2 years.
She believes in Hard Work, Discipline, Honesty, & Integrity. Being women, she likes to work for the betterment of women fraternity. To keep this sublime objective, under her chairmanship she laid the foundation of Rashmika- the Women Empowerment Cell of MGI

- The emblem of MIT “Karyeshu Kaushalam” refers to “Efficiency in Performance”. The emblem is an adaptation of the trident of Lord Shiva filled with three vibrant colours-red, black and yellow. The black pillar symbolises the technical equipments, red stands for the moral values and enthusiasm infused in every student whereas the sky roaring yellow flames represent the crowning glory of the group.

Sciences (MICS), Mahakal Institute of Management (MIM), Mahakal Institute of Technology & Sciences (MITS), Mahakal Institute of Technology & Management (MITM), All these institutes under the banner of Mahakal Group of Institutes are providing interdisciplinary academic environment and interactions to the students of various disciplines.
